February 3, 2013

Hello! I hope you all enjoyed the week off, now it's time to get back to business. This will be our last sunday of Ordinary time. (There is another Sunday left but the other choir will sing that week.) The next time that we play, we will be in Lent and will have to follow certain guidelines that all the choirs will be adhering to. The songs for Sunday's mass will be the following:

Entrance: Our God is Good This is not the song we practiced last time we played, this is an older one we have played before. You can listen to it:  Joshua Blakesley - Our God Is Good

Glory to God (#995Mass of Renewal)
Acclamation: Alleluia (Jesse Manibusan)
Offertory: Song of the Body of Christ
               Holy (#980 Mass of Creation)
When We Eat This Bread (#981 Mass of Creation)
Doxology and Amen (#982 Mass of Creation)
Lamb of God (Jesse Manibusan - Mass of the Solid Rock)
Communion: Servant Song - AND - Only A Shadow
Sending Forth: Reach Out

We will go over this on Tuesday at 7pm at Susie's house. Since the next time we play is Lent, I would also like to go over "In These Days of Lenten Journey" because that will be our entrance song for all of Lent.
